Activities to take part in while you are in town:

Take a 1000 Islands Cruise. If you enjoy getting out to Refugee Island for the Island Breakfast and wish you could stay out on the water longer, book a cruise with 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises here in Brockville to find out more about the islands and our beautiful region.

Go for a swim at the beach at St. Lawrence Park. Since this is the departure point to catch your boat ride to Refugee Island, why not take the kids to the playground or beach before heading back to your car?

Visit Canada’s First Railway Tunnel. This attraction re-opened in 2017 after extensive restoration work and now features a stunning light show. Admission is free, though donations are greatly appreciated.

Stroll the Brock Trail into town. A recent addition to the Brock Trail connect St. Lawrence Park to the rest of the trail system, a paved walking and cycling path that follows the waterfront in Downtown Brockville and continues up through town.

Shop in Downtown Brockville. Follow King Street from St. Lawrence Park into downtown Brockville and shop at the unique retailers, cafes, and restaurants. There is 2 hour complimentary parking on King Street.

Visit the Aquatarium, Brockville’s newest attraction. Centrally located in downtown Brockville, the Aquatarium is a 25,000 square foot waterfront attraction overlooking the St. Lawrence River to let you experience the 1000 Islands like never before. See river otters at play, climb on the aerial ropes course, learn to scuba dive and so much more.

Stop by the Brockville Public Library. With drop in programs throughout the year, and plenty of childrens programming in the summer months, stop by to see if there is a free movie playing, kids craft, or adult social group meeting. Stay to enjoy the air conditioning, browse their selection of books, magazines, DVDs and more, and check your email with their free wifi.

Pick berries at Tincap Berry Farm. Have fun in the sun picking your own fresh berries to take home from Tincap Berry Farm.

Tour the Brockville Museum. With interactive activities for kids and plenty of historical information and new displays to check out, this is the place to go to learn more about the history of the area. If you are a Brockville resident, admission is free on Fridays.

Tour Fulford Place Museum. Explore the grounds of this beautiful, historic, waterfront Mansion on a 1 hour guided tour.
